2017 Highlights
Patriots Defeat: Seward Park,
Tottenville, Ft. Hamilton & Susan Wagner
to reach 2017 PSAL Finals for 9th time!
FLHS BLASTOFF TOURNAMENT
The Patriots faired well in their own 2017 Blastoff tournament going 5-1 in pool play to advance to the semi-finals. In pool play they defeated St. Mary's and Bellmore JFK and split with Holy Trinity.. Their win against Holy Trinity was the only set that they dropped during the tornament. In the semi-finals the Patriots fought hard and defeated St John the Baptist 26-24, 14-25, 25-21. Amira Durkovic and Katelyn Ng Sang were named to the All Tournament Team. Next for the Patriots is the Clarkstown So.Tournament in Rockland.
Patriots 2017 Season Ended
with loss to Cardozo in PSAL A Finals ending 16-5
Ended Tied for the Division Title 9-1
Max Preps & NYS Honors
The Patriots finished with Honroable Mention in the final AA NYS Rankings
Ann Marie Soriano was named NY State Player of the week on Nov. 13th by the AVCA.
Nicole Anagbogu was named the Patriots Max Preps Player of the Year for the 2017 Season.
Congratulations to Madisyn Pozo and Katelyn Ng Sang for making Exceptional Senior Game roster.
Patriots fall to Oneonta in 3 sets to finish 2nd in Silver Division of the Horseheads Classic.
