Selections will continue each day until finished!!!
The following players have been selected for the Varsity Team: (This is regular practice for the team come everyday)***
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20
The following players have not been selected for Varsity and do not have to attend anymore: (Thanks for trying out) 16, 47, 33, 50, 54, 57, 59, 63, 64

How Varsity & JV Tryouts work:
You need to start at the first tryout (August 21st) and come everyday. Each day the list will be posted with the returning athletes.
If you make the team you continue until the season ends.
If you do not make the Varsity and you are in 9th or 10th grade you will continue to tryout for JV starting August 26th at 9:00am. If you are in 11th or 12th grade and do not make the team you are done when team is selected.
New players will take a physical Fitness, jumping and agility test.
Tests: Block Jump, Spike Approach, 20 yard dash, X agility run, Basketball throw on one knee.
Skill tests will follow.

YOU NEED ALL FORMS UP TO DATE AND COMPLETED TO TRYOUT.
FORMS THAT ARE NEEDED ARE ON TRYOUT 2024 Forms PAGE!!! YOU CAN ALSO GET FORMS IN ROOM 108 or the Nurse's Office at Francis Lewis. All information must be in pen!! Initials on consent are your parents makes sure there are 13!!! Put your Osis #, name, and school on all pages needed. Make sure the Dr. signs, dates and stamps the forms. Incomplete forms will be rejected - no exceptions!!

For the 9-3:30 bring a snack/lunch and plenty of water you cannot leave school during the 1/2 hour break!!!!!!!!!!MAKE SURE YOU EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST BEFORE EACH TRYOUT*******
